Designer babies

After reading about what scientists want to do I feel like its a bad idea. There are many reasons such as I would feel like it wasn't really my baby. This is because you would be changing the characteristics and genes that they would normally be getting from their parents. Then again there could be some positive things such as you can get rid of genetic disorders like sickle cell or obesity. But i still think it would really be considered your child if you changed the eyes and there isn't a gene that can give you blues eyes from one of your mates. Or how tall they will be if you and your mate are short. Clearly a designer child could have up and positive outcomes, but really it wouldn't be considered your child if you change its genes from the parents. So yes i do think technology is getting to ahead of itself and needs to do more research and maybe take surveys if people would like to have their babies basically created for them.

Sugar to gasoline

Two research teams have been able to convert sugar-potentially derived from agriculture waste and non-food plants-into gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and a other valuable chemicals. i think that it is very interesting how you can convert things into other things such as sugar into gasoline. I am also curious to how they can do this. With out the chemicals interfering with sugar and what they are trying to turn into gasoline.

Egg lab

In conclusion the change in the mass of the egg showed a correlation to the concentration of corn syrup (r=0.9), with a confidence level of 96.4% (p=0.036). From the results an egg in a corn syrup solution is in a hypertonic solution. A future study should narrow the range of corn syrup concentration.

The effects of biology

Biology is all living organisms and how they reproduce. It effects the world by opening up new things and sometimes it is life changing for people. But there are downs there are many viruses that can hurt people and that can kill them. And i am referring to somethings they may think will help others but in the end it doesn't work out and hurts the other people.
